Born in Kırşehir in 1987, Halime Türkyılmaz started studying at Anadolu University, Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Department of Art Teaching in 2005 and graduated in 2009. She started her artistic journey in 2008 by painting with a technique she developed using unpainted natural mineral stones.

 

Türkyılmaz, who has taught visual arts in many private schools throughout her career, has given training and organized sand painting exhibitions at the Kumhane Atölyesi she opened in Moda, Istanbul. She transitioned to a new style in 2019-2020 and continues to open exhibitions with both oil paintings and sand paintings.
